Dr. Joe Meng is a lead surgeon at Meng Dentistry, specializing in the functional and aesthetic reconstruction and replacement of teeth, particularly in complex cases. In addition to dental implants, he frequently uses fixed or removable appliances to achieve the most efficient results, ensuring 100% patient satisfaction. His other areas of expertise include maxillofacial prosthetics, TMJ dysfunction treatment, and the management of sleep apnea.

Joe and his wife, Minde (also a dentist), have two boys, Fletcher and Wyatt, and enjoy spending time outdoors whenever possible!




Background

  • Born and raised in a small town in northern Wisconsin.

  • Completed his undergraduate education at the University of Montana in 2002.

  • Earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2006.

Advanced Training

  • Completed a 3-year dental specialty certificate program in Prosthodontics.

  • Received a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX, in 2009.

  • Became a diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics in 2013.

Community

  • Presented his research and clinical cases at numerous national and international symposiums.

  • Authored publications in peer-reviewed dental journals.

  • Performed rotations at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas, Dallas Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and the Universities of Geneva and Bern, Switzerland.

  • Served as president of the Montana Dental Association, 2nd District, in 2013-14.
